Satisfies JLPT requirements and more!

JLPT is necessary and useful, but it isn't enough. Our course satisfies JLPT requirements—and more! JLPT arbitrarily classifies Japanese grammar and words from "easy" to "difficult," but real-life language needs don't follow that pattern. You'll need some "difficult" words within days of arriving in Japan. JLPT also ignores the unspoken half of the language.

Our "JLPT in Context" program avoids the pitfalls of random, disjointed lessons. Instead, our curriculum unfolds as a continuous story—true to life, following the journey of moving to Japan. It starts in English and Japanese, mimicking real-world exposure to new terms, then gradually transitions to 100% Japanese. (You'll feel amazing when you reach your first lesson only in Japanese!)
